J.J. drove our #18 Teo Chassis car on Friday June 8, 2007. The NASCAR Cup series was in Pocono that weekend. He was also competing in an ARDC midget. He qualified for the modified and midget features that evening. Unfortunately, the features were rained out.

Doug Jansson proudly served as the golf cart limo driver that night, shuttling him back and forth from both his cars. The entire PPB crew enjoyed talking to him and joking around that evening. J.J. was especially impressed with the way crew chief Dave Hoffman prepared the modified he drove. He had a fast car and wasn’t afraid to show what it had.

J.J. drove the #18 Chevy for Gibbs racing in 2007. He has since moved on to the #96 DLP sponsored Toyota for Hall of Fame Racing. He has had a great career in USAC sprints and midgets. He is a pure racer. He will drive anything, anytime! The PPB Race Team feels very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with J.J. Yeley. We wish him nothing but success in his future racing adventures.
