Billy Pauch Jr. and Pioneer

Billy Pauch Jr., son of dirt track legend Billy Pauch, began his racing career in 1998. He went on to compete in numerous dirt and asphalt events driving a variety of cars with optimisim and success. The 2008 racing season looks to be another exciting year for Billy Jr. as he is chauffer of the Schaeffer's Harley Davidson / Pioneer Pole Buildings #8 modified which will be in competition at Big Diamond Raceway in Minersville, PA and other select dirt tracks throughout the Northeast. Also during the busy 2008 season Billy Jr. will be competing in three ARCA RE/MAX series events, the full NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Schedule, and other selected asphalt modified events in addition to selected dirt big block modified shows.

Career Highlights:

2001-2002 : 4 wins in slingshot competition

2003 : Big Diamond Rookie of the Year in 358 Modified Division

2004 : Big Diamond Raceway 7th Place in 358 Modified Division points

2005 : First Big Block Modified victory at Bridgeport Speedway

2006 : One 358 Modified victory at Big Diamond Raceway and 7th place in 358 Modified division points

2007 : Two 358 Modified victories at Big Diamond Raceway

2007 : 18th place in NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Points with two top 10 finishes

Between 2005 and 2007 Billy raced in 25 dirt and midget shows. Pauch Jr. finished in the top 10 at 22 of the events. He finished in the top 5 at 12 of those events across the country

February 7 - 16 New Smyrna Speedway, FLA Ashpalt Modified Driving: Greenfield 06	Friday 2/8/08 - Billy Placed 9th Sat 2/9/08 - Billy Placed 10th Tuesday 2/12/08 - Rain Out Thursday 2/14/08 - Billy placed 13th Friday 2/15/08 - Billy Placed 16th On the 11th and 13th Billy was out due to illness. His father, Billy Pauch, Sr. filled in for him placing 16th and 18th respectively. Throughout the week Billy earned enough points to secure him 8th place in the Modified Division. Congratulations Billy!
March 15 Selinsgrove Speedway, PA Roc Big Block Modified Driving: Carefree 15	Billy will be unable to race as announced.
March 22 Caraway Speedway, NC NASCAR So. Mod Tour Driving: Greenfield 06	Billy will be unable to race as announced
March 29 Big Diamond Raceway, PA Big Block Modifieds (40 Laps) Driving: PPB #8	Billy started 8th in his heat and finished 6th. He started 5th in his consolation and finished 5th. He did not qualify for the feature.(DNQ) There were 53 modifieds in attendance.Congratulations to Duane Howard who won the feature that paid $4000 to win.
